Under the clear sky and the gently chilly breeze of the season,
we have created “Afa” garments using light, winter-ready wool.
Soft Tasmanian wool is used for blouses, while textured Hige wool is featured in vests and trousers.
This year, we have prepared a collection of garments made from uniquely expressive materials.
Please enjoy coordinating them with “Lifeafa” and our “Sai” pieces.

About Afa
インドへの旅をきっかけに, 一枚の布を纏うことにアジアの衣の原点を視つめ,
日本古来の結ぶ・重ねる・ひねるなどの伝統的な着付による衣や現代の東洋服を提案するようになる。
𝟣𝟫𝟪𝟨年 アジアやアフリカの布を使った衣ブランド Afa (古代日本語で太陽を意味する) を設立。
𝟣𝟫𝟫𝟫年 オーガニック・コットンのブランド Lifeafa を設立。

Inspired by a journey to India, she began to explore the origins of Asian clothing through the use of a single piece of cloth.
This exploration led her to develop garments that draw on traditional Japanese dressing techniques – such as tying, layering,
and twisting – while also creating contemporary Eastern-style clothing.
In 1986, she founded Afa, a clothing brand that uses textiles from Asia and Africa and whose name means “sun” in ancient Japanese.
Later in 1999, she established the organic cotton brand Lifeafa.
